Having written and storyboarded as partners for five years on the Cartoon Network show, Craig of the Creek, Dashawn and Najja realized their writing instincts complimented one another. Najja leaned towards the dramatic while Dashawn never failed to bring the laughs. He even has his own hilariously absurd comic called, The Brothers Boom. Najja and Dashawn thought, with their powers combined, why not make something together?

Phoenix Blade was born out of a love for nature, reptiles, fantasy gaming, anime, and sibling disfunction bonds. Dashawn and Najja share a similar background of growing up in struggling times and moving constantly with mostly bothers and sisters as best friends. Both of them have offered up these joys and experiences to summon a unique fantasy adventure for you to enjoy .
